लखीमपुर हिंसा को हिन्दू बनाम सिख का रंग देने की हो रही है कोशिश: वरुण गांधी

लखीमपुर हिंसा पर सरकार के रुख पर भाजपा नेता वरुण गांधी ने एक बार फिर हमला बोला है। ट्वीट करते हुए वरुण ने लिखा, लखीमपुर खीरी हिंसा को हिंदू बनाम सिख लड़ाई में बदलने की कोशिश की जा रही है। यह न केवल एक अनैतिक और झूठा आख्यान है, ऐसी नफरत की रेखाएँ बनाना और उन घावों को फिर से खोलना खतरनाक है, जिसे एक पीढ़ी को ठीक करने में लगे हैं। हमें राष्ट्रीय एकता से ऊपर राजनीतिक लाभ नहीं रखना चाहिए।

बता दें कि उत्तरप्रदेश के लखीमपुर खेरी में हुई हिंसा के बाद से जहां एक ओर सरकार आरोपियों को बचाने में लग गई थी वहीं दूसरी ओर वरुण गांधी अपनी पार्टी के खिलाफ जाकर किसानों की आवाज़ उठा रहे थे। जिसके चलते पार्टी ने वरुण और मेनका गांधी को पार्टी की राष्ट्रीय कार्यकारिणी से बाहर का रास्ता दिखा दिया था।

कयास लगाए जा रहे है कि अगले साल होने वाले विधानसभा चुनावों से पहले वरुण पार्टी में हो रही अपनी उपेक्षा से नाराज है और जल्द ही किसी और पार्टी का दामन थाम सकते है।

उत्तर प्रदेश के लखीमपुर में हुई हिंसा जिसमें 5 किसानों की मौत हुई थी पर अब सरकार विपक्ष के दबाव में कार्यवाही करने पर मजबूर दिख रही है। मामले पर कार्रवाई करते हुए पुलिस ने दो आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया है। पुलिस के अनुसार दोनों रविवार को तिकुनिया गांव में हुए कार हादसे के दौरान गाड़ी में बैठे थे। पुलिस अभी इन दोनों आरोपियों से पूछताछ कर रही है।

गिरफ्तार किए गए दोनों आरोपियों की पहचान लव कुश राणा और आशीष पांडे के रूप में हुई है। पुलिस के अनुसार अन्य आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार करने के लिए छापेमारी की जा रही है। हालांकि मुख्य आरोपी मंत्री के बेटे का अभी तक कोई पता नहीं चल पाया है। पुलिस ने आरोपी को समन भेजने की बात कही है।

आशीष मिश्रा के करीबी है दोनों आरोपी

विस्तार किए गए दोनों आरोपी केंद्रीय मंत्री अजय मिश्रा ट्रेनिंग के बेटे आशीष मिश्रा के करीबी बताए जा रहे हैं 1 ग्राम पुलिस के एक अधिकारी ने कहा कि दोनों रविवार को डिकोनिया गांव में किसानों को कुचलने वाले वाहन में एक साथ बैठे थे पुलिस हमसे पूछताछ कर रही है।

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने मांगी रिपोर्ट

मामले का स्वत संज्ञान लेते हुए सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने गुरुवार को यूपी सरकार से मामले पर विस्तृत रिपोर्ट मांगी है। कोर्ट ने कहा कि सरकार शुक्रवार तक मामले पर एक विस्तृत रिपोर्ट दाखिल करें और बताएं कि मामले में आरोपी कौन है, किसके खिलाफ एफ आई आर दर्ज की गई है और किन लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है।

शिवराज सरकार से नाराज चल रही हैं उमा भारती

पिछले कुछ महीने से भारतीय जनता पार्टी नेतृत्व से नाराज चल रही उमा भारती ने हाल ही में शिवराज सिंह चौहान द्वारा किए गए मंत्रिमंडल के विस्तार पर भी सवाल खड़े किए थे । उमा भारती ने कथित तौर पर एक पत्र मंत्रिमंडल विस्तार पर नाराजगी प्रकट करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान को भी लिखा था । यद्यपि इस पत्र की प्रतिलिपि अब तक सामने नहीं आई है । उमा भारती ने इस पत्र में उनके सुझावों को अनदेखा किए जाने पर असंतोष प्रकट किया था । गुरुवार को उत्तर प्रदेश के कुख्यात हत्यारे विकास दुबे के महाकाल परिसर तक पहुंचने से शिवराज सिंह सरकार की पुलिस पर कई तरह के सवाल खड़े हो रहे हैं । मुख्य विपक्षी दल कांग्रेस राज्य के गृह मंत्री नरोत्तम मिश्रा को भी लगातार निशाने पर लिए हुए। इसी कड़ी में उमा भारती के तीन सवाल सरकार के साथ-साथ नरोत्तम मिश्रा की मुसीबत भी बढ़ाने वाले साबित हो सकते हैं शिवराज सरकार से नाराज हैं उमा भारती

मंत्रियों में गृह विभाग को लेकर चल रही है जोर आजमाइश

शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने अपने मंत्रिमंडल का विस्तार 2 जुलाई को किया था। इस विस्तार में 20 मंत्री और 8 राज्य मंत्री शामिल किए गए है। इन मंत्रियों को विभागों का वितरण 9 दिन बाद भी नहीं हो सका है। कहा जा रहा है कि विभाग को लेकर जोर आजमाइश शिवराज सिंह चौहान मंत्रिमंडल के वरिष्ठ सदस्यों के बीच चल रही है हर मंत्री महत्वपूर्ण विभाग चाहता है। गृह विभाग के दावेदार भी कई हैं। राज्य के मौजूदा गृह मंत्री नरोत्तम मिश्रा अपने मौजूदा विभाग को छोड़ने को तैयार नहीं हैं। जबकि मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान गृह विभाग अपने करीबी भूपेंद्र सिंह को देना चाहते हैं।

UP to fight Unemployment with new Labor Laws?

Uttar Pradesh Government exempted all labor laws but three. With all the migrant labors returning back to the state and economic slowdown due to Coronavirus pandemic. They have been introduced as ‘Uttar Pradesh Temporary Exemption from Certain Labour Laws Ordinance, 2020’. The laws that have been exempted are Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, 1976; Employee Compensation Act, 1923; Building and Other Construction Workers Act, 1996.

What has come up as a surprise though is the request made by the Chief Ministers of four other states; Punjab, Karnataka, Harayana and Gujarat, to not airlift the migrant workers since they form a big part of their respective state economies.

Yogi Government though promises employment to all the workers returning back home with great difficulties after lockdown so as to prevent them from migrating again. UP being highly populated see the largest population of migrant workers all over India. To prevent this from happening in a future free from the fear of COVID-19 there are steps the state government has planned. Multinational giants like FEDx, Adobe have been invited to set their offices in the state.

Apart from that laborers are being brought back home and a committee has been set up for representation of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. The government plans on creating around 15 lakh jobs from the aforementioned department post lockdown.

With the change in labour laws and new policies being introduced, Uttar Pradesh government plans on generating employment to stop people from migrating and contribute in the growth of the state. But with economic slowdown and with zero percent growth rate for the financial year 2021, it would be interesting to see how they reach the finishing line.

Baghpat, a small town in Uttar Pradesh, is India’s most polluted

A small town in the state of Uttar Pradesh, named Baghpat has recorded the worst Air Quality Index in India, making it the most polluted area of India. Baghpat is located around 55 km from the National capital Delhi.

The Central Pollution Control Board had recorded Baghpat’s AQI at a staggering 500- the maximum possible reading from government monitors. The small town has been covered with a thick layer of smog, making it impossible for the local residents to even breath outside. In the wake of such hazardous circumstances, the DM of the town, Shakuntala Gautam has announced that all schools will be closed till 5th November.

As reported yesterday, six of the most polluted in the top ten were towns of Uttar Pradesh. Apart from Baghpat, they also included the names of Hapur, Bulandshahr, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Ghaziabad. They all had an AQI rated severe.

Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath held a meeting regarding pollution in the state but no details of the meeting were provided to the press. Excessive pollution is being tackled by sprinkling water in the town’s. Farmers accused of burning crops are also being fined in the state.

उत्तर प्रदेश में शिक्षकों के लगभग 2 लाख पद खाली पड़े हैं। युवा नौकरियाँ निकलने का रास्ता देख रहे हैं। धूप-बारिश में खड़े प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं।

मगर रोजगार देने की बात पर BJP सरकार के लोग मुँह फेर लेते हैं या कहते हैं कि उत्तर भारत के युवाओं में योग्यता नहीं है।

दअरसा दरअसल प्रियंका गांधी अपने इस ट्वीट में केंद्रीय मंत्री संतोष गंगवार के उस बयान पर हमला बोल रहीं थी जिसमें उन्होंने कहा था कि देश में नौकरियों की कमी नही है बल्कि उत्तर भारत के युवाओं में योग्यता की कमी है।

सोनभद्र मामले के बाद कांग्रेस में उठी प्रियंका गाँधी को राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष बनाने की मांग

सोनभद्र हिंसा के बाद जिस तरह प्रियंका गाँधी ने राज्य सरकार से लोहा लिया और पीड़ितों से मिलने के लिए धरने पर बैठ गयी और आखिर में जिस सरकार और प्रशासन को झुकाकर उन्होंने पीड़ितों से मुलाकात की उससे कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं में एक बार फिर उर्जा का संचार हुआ हैं। उत्तरप्रदेश के साथ ही पूरे देश में अब प्रियंका गाँधी को कांग्रेस पार्टी का नेतृत्व सौंपने की मांग उठ गयी है।

कई छोटे-बड़े नेताओं के बाद अब कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता और पूर्व विदेश मंत्री नटवर सिंह ने सोनभद्र मामले में प्रियंका के फैसले का ज़िक्र करते हुए कहा कि “वह पार्टी को संभालने में सक्षम हैं। आपने देखा होगा कि उन्होंने उत्तरप्रदेश में क्या किया।, वह सोनभद्र मामले को लेकर वहां टिकी रहीं और जो चाहती थीं उसे हासिल कर लिया”

नटवर सिंह ने आगे राहुल गाँधी के फैसले पर सवाल उठाते हुए कहा कि “राहुल को अपने इस फैसले को बदलना होगा कि कांग्रेस का नेतृत्व गांधी परिवार के बाहर का कोई शख्स करे। गाँधी परिवार को अब यह फैसला उलटना होगा कि कांग्रेस का नेतृत्व कोई गैर गांधी करे। सिंह ने आगे कहा कि अगर गाँधी के बाहर का कोई शख्स अगर कांग्रेस का नेतृत्व करता है तो 24 घंटे के भीतर कांग्रेस बिखर जाएगी।

प्रियंका जहां एक ओर अपना पूरा ध्यान उत्तरप्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव पर लगा रखी है तो वहीं राहुल गाँधी ने राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष पद से इस्तीफ़ा देते समय ही साफ़ कर दिया था कांग्रेस पार्टी का अगला अध्यक्ष गाँधी परिवार से नही होगा।

Mahagathbandhan lasted for Lok Sabha Elections only as BSP and SP parted ways

Stable alliances in Indian politics are myths. The fact was soon discovered after a disastrous performance by BSP and SP in Lol Sabha elections. They are now separate, like they were in the past.

After weeks of blaming SP for the failure in Lok Sabha elections, , BSP supremo Mayawati on Monday announced that her party will contest all elections alone in future.

She tweeted, “The behaviour of the SP after the Lok Sabha general elections compels the BSP to think whether it will be possible to defeat the BJP further. That is not possible. So in the interest of the party and the movement, the BSP will now fight all the major elections on its own.”

“Everyone is aware that forgetting everything of the past, as well as anti-BSP and anti-Dalit decisions such as reservation in promotions and bad law and order during the SP rule in 2012-2017, the BSP adhered to the ‘gathbandhan dharma’ with the Samajwadi Party in the interest of the country,” she tweeted in Hindi.

Mayawati’s statement comes a day after the BSP reviewed its performance in the Lok Sabha polls and its alliance with the Akhilesh Yadav-led party. The BSP, which had contested the election in alliance with the SP and Ajit Singh’s Rashtriya Lok Dal, had won 10 seats and the SP, just five.

Soon after she announced her decision, SP national general secretary Ramashankar Vidyarthi told journalists in Balia that Mayawati was speaking against the SP in haste because of the Dalit support for the SP and Akhilesh.

“She is weakening the fight for social justice,” he said, adding that Dalit society is getting connected with the SP and Akhilesh in a big way. “People know about the reality about what the ‘malkin’ of the alliance has done.”

Earlier in June, Mayawati had announced her decision for the BSP to go solo in the bypolls to 11 Assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh. She had then said that the split would not be permanent if Akhilesh got his act together. Her statement also comes weeks after she said Akhilesh had asked her to not give tickets to Muslims as it would result in religious polarisation.

Lok Sabha elections 2019: First Phase Over; High Turn-out recorded in North-East

The dance of democracy begins. The first phase of poll is over. It covered total 91 constituencies across 20 states and Union Territories. Apart from that, voting is underway in 175 Assembly seats in Andhra Pradesh, 32 in Sikkim and 28 seats in Odisha. North East states like Nagaland and Meghalaya recorded turn-out more than 70% till 5PM. Let’s see what happened today.

Elections in Andhra Pradesh were, however, marred with violence with the cadres of TDP and YSRCP in different parts of the state. Reports said that there were at least 15 different incidents of clashes between the workers of these parties.

One worker from the ruling Telugu Desam Party and one from the YSR Congress were killed in a clash in a village in Tadipatri Assembly constituency in Anantapuram district.Besides clashes between the rival parties, the elections in Andhra Pradesh were also hampered by multiple reports of EVM malfunctions. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu alleged that 30 percent EVMs malfunctioned and sought re-polling at all the locations that reported glitches in the voting machines. State’s Chief Electoral Officer, however, denied that 30 percent of the EVMs had malfuncted. Naidu even shot off a letter to the Election Commission.

In Maharashtra, Naxalites attacked a police team returning after the close of polling in Atapalli in Gadchiroli. Three commandos of the police were injured in this attack. The injured were taken to Nagpur by air life. The Naxalites also fired on helicopters carrying the injured.

There was an incident in which a 91- year old Khajan Singh Saini was unable vote as his name was not in the voters’ list in Shahpur town, Muzaffarpur. Villagers in that village tell that there are more than 400 such people who are not in the voters’ list across 3 wards of Shahpur town only.

In Uttar Pradesh, voter turnout till 5:00 PM in Kairana was 60.3 percent, Meerut 60.5 percent and Bijnor 61.5 percent. In Meghalaya, 75% people came for voting whereas in Nagaland, that figure was 73% till 4 PM.

Phase 2 will be conducted on April 18. This phase will cover a total of 97 constituencies spread across 13 states.
