Telghani Board will be formed in Chhattisgarh

Raipur: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has announced that the Telghani Board will be formed in the state to provide employment opportunities in rural areas on Sunday.

Talking at divisional level youth introduction conference, Baghel announced Rs 20 lakhs for construction of social buildings in five districts of Raipur division- Raipur, Mahasamund, Dhamtari, Gariaband, Balodabazar.

“With the formation of the Telghani Board, the people of rural areas will get employment opportunities. Sahu community has always shown direction in terms of social awareness. Even in the pandemic period, all communities including Sahu, came forward and performed their social responsibilities well,” he said.

The Sahu community of the district in Mahasamund organised adivisional level program for the first time. Chairman of Backward Classes Commission Thaneshwar Sahu, public representatives and community heads were present during the program.

Separate budget for children in Chhattisgarh

Raipur: The state government has planned to brought child budget for the first time. The chief minister Bhupesh Baghel is going to have meeting with his minister for its planning and execution. The different departments  working for child welfare are to be brought together in this Scheme.

The concept of child budget has launched in some state of the country. It is part of UNICEF’s plan to include children’s health and educational development in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Chhattisgarh has also incorporated this scheme in its CG SDG vision till 2030.

About 8 lakh children are born every year in the state and at present the number of newborn to 18 years old children is close to 80 lakh. The government run several schemes for their development. Among these, the Women and Child Development and Health Department is the main department. The Women and Child Development Department alone is spending 14 hundred crores on children out of its budget of 2200 crores this year, while the Health Department spends 85 to 90 crores. This amount is spent only on vaccination, child heart plan, nuclear implant, mother-child scheme. The Department of School Education is spending 14 thousand crores on 56 thousand children studying in primary to higher secondary schools.

Besides this, the schemes are implemented every year in both the departments with an increase of 10%. Apart from these, the Department of School Education, Scheduled Tribes Welfare, Labor and Social Welfare also spend a large amount. Plans will be implemented with complete coordination and coordination by bringing all these under one roof. CM Baghel has called a meeting of ministers of these departments on January 15 to make its outline. At the same time, the State Planning Commission will also make plans with the secretaries.

According to sources, the child budget has already been implemented in 4 states of the country. These include Kerala, Assam, Bihar and Karnataka. Assam has implemented only last year. While the rest of the states have implemented from 2013-14. The previous BJP government in Chhattisgarh ignored it. According to experts, the child budget will be the fourth conceptual budget since 2013. Chhattisgarh again wins number one position in power generation for the sixth time

The Chhattisgarh Power Generation Company has once again topped by beating the power plants across the country. The company’s plants exhibited 70.08 percent plant load factor (PLF). Power plants have consistently created a new record by being the first place for past six month, surpassing the 33 power plants of the state power sector.

Telangana State Power Generation Company was second with 68.25 percent and Singareni Koliarish Nigam Limited (SCCL) of Telangana achieved 67.59 percent PLF to stood at third position. Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (Genco), which is among the power plants of other large developed states of the country, could achieve 46.68 percent PLF. Nonetheless, Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company’s power plant has been continuously ranked first since july 2020.

The Central Electricity Authority (CEA) releases a report of data on electricity produced from thermal power plants every month. CEA released a report after conducting a comparative analysis of PLF of 33 plants of the state power company across the country. According to this, thermal power plants of Chhattisgarh displayed a record breaking PLF of 70.08 percent in December 2020 in the current financial year.

New year gift to employees of Chhattisgarh

CM Bhupesh Baghel to visit Bastar division

Raipur: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will be visiting Bastar division from January 9. Rajim is a symbol of Chhattisgarh’s culture: Bhupesh Baghel

Raipur: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that Rajim is not just a city, but a symbol of culture for the entire Chhattisgarh. He also said that Rajim is not only the point of confluence of three rivers, but also a confluene point for cultures. Baghel has made the above remark at the Jubilee Festival of Bhakti Mahtari Rajim Dai organized by Sahu Samaj in Rajim on Thursday.

He said that Rajim has a its own history and it is a symbol of our culture. He said that District Administration has identified 54 acres of land for the new venue to organize Rajim Mela systematically. People from all over Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Maharashtra visit Rajim to attend the mega fair- ‘Rajim Mela’.

He said that all necessary arrangements and construction would be done at the identified site, to ensure that the saints, government employees and other people coming from outside during the Rajim Mela do not face any inconvenience. He said that there will be no shortage of funds for this mega event. Rajim Mela is part of our cultural identity.

The Chief Minister has made an announcement that the newly constructed Community Health Center at Fingeshwar will be named after Bhakti Mahtari Rajim Dai. He has also announced approval of Rs 50 lakh for the under-construction Dharamshala in Rajim and five acres of land for the Rajim Mata Research Institute. He said that to maintain the cultural identity, Chhattisgarh government has announced public holidays on festivals like Teeja-Pora, Karma Jayanti, Hareli, World Tribal Day and Chhath. Chhattisgarh also has its own state song, which is sung at the begining of any program.
