Telangana: As the nation undergoing with the second corona wave, covid protocols went for a toss in Hyderabad’s Charminar market on Thursday. Large number of people were seen shopping and flouting covid norms of maintaining social distancing and wearing face masks.

After this, the city police registered the cases against the violators. DCP South Zone says, “There have been some violations in some parts of the city & we have been booking a lot of cases against such violators, especially in and around Charminar.”

“Since 20th April, night curfew implemented in Hyderabad city & all over Telangana. We’ve booked 698 cases for not wearing masks, 146 cases for not maintaining social distancing norms, 4 cases of large public gatherings, 253 cases of night curfew violation”, DCP South Zone added.
