Pollution isn’t a new topic for India and Delhi isn’t a fresh spot for toxic pollution to breed. There are numerous politicians doing the talk-talk but none have taken any long term initiative into helping to find out the way to reduce this harmful toxicity.

People, on the other hand, are doing less and whining more about the growing air pollution. Social media have become a platform of shows and reality is far away from the bleak.

The chief minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot while placing his opinion says that air pollution shouldn’t be a concern to only the Delhi government but should be a concern for the central government too in order to resolve the issue permanently.

He also rightfully places his concern regarding the growing “pollution which is heading towards Rajasthan” after occupying the entire Northern states.

If the national capital becomes a gas chamber, you can imagine what would happen. I was in Delhi for two days. I felt what the people are going through there (in Delhi). The pollution is now heading towards Rajasthan, so this should be a matter of concern for us too.”

We request the Centre to not simply leave the matter up to Delhi government. This matter should be a top priority, and be resolved permanently. This year pollution in Delhi has crossed all limits.

Delhi is covered with toxic smog engulfing several parts of the city. The quality of air is deteriorating, the Air Quality Index (AQI) is rising as high as 625 at 10 am yesterday. Arvind Kejriwal brings the odd and even scheme back to its regular routine from today and will go on till November 15.
