Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers is the apex professional society of Chemical Engineers in India, popularly abbreviated as IIChE. Renowned Prof. (Dr.) R. K. Khandal, President- R&D and Bussiness Development, India Glycols Ltd. Gave a presentation on “ Sustainability of Indian Chemical Industry- Role of Institutions of Engineers”. R.K. Khandal (born September 6, 1957) is a fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, London and Former Vice – Chancellor of Uttar Pradesh Technical University since September 19, 2012 to May 2015. Khandal was also the President (for the period 2010 to 2012) of the World Association of Industrial & Technological Organizations (WAITRO).
He was awarded by former President of India Pranav Mukherjee on Fifth Estate Summit Awards Ceremony.
